OhGreatHeavens! - PvP/Party

I attended the Global Game Jam once more, but this time with a great group of friends. Sitting, hunkered down in Base42 (a local coworking/chilling spot) we were given the theme "Make Me Laugh".
To be honest, the theme was kinda offputting, much like the previous few years. Kinda the reason why most newer ingie game jams have a much better repertoire of new games poping out, but we still went with it and created a small game called Oh Great Heavens.
The game is PvP, 2 players try to survive, while the 3rd player is essentially a Dungeon master. 2 players climb a continuously scrolling building, while the 3rd player uses powers to knock the other 2 players off the building.
As a climber, you can climb up or diagonally left/right. You can also scale your climb (since it acts like a charged jump) to climb further. As a DM, you have 5 skills: a boxing glove coming out of a window, a gust of wind, pigeons flying by, a flamethrower to stagger and a water hose to make climbing slippery.
Most if not all of the assets are custom made. Out of our 7 man team, 2 of us were working on the code and the rest were creating and adding assets to the game. My job specifically was to implement the scrolling building, the skills/powerups and adding the randomizing code my friend made to the building's windows.
In total, there were 19 contesting teams and most of the projects looked pretty promising.
Although we ended up not winning, we were pretty satisfied with the resulting game. An almost fully fleshed out video game in just 48 hours.
